On-the-Water at the E Scow National Championship

85 Boats. No Midline Boat. No General Recalls.

In 2023, E Scow Nationals used four RC boats anchored on the starting line, including two midline boats. In 2024, the line was set with just two MarkSetBots plus Vakaros RaceSense—and the results were game-changing.

E Scows are known for aggressive starts, often leading to general recalls and penalty flags. With 85 boats, 25-knot winds, and waves, conditions were tough. Yet, thanks to MarkSetBot’s dynamic course management and RaceSense’s automated OCS detection, all seven races ran under a P flag—without a single general recall.
